In the past, I have been interested in providing a site for discussion of topics relating to science books for young readers, but the venue was never right.
It now looks like Facebook might be the right place. I will intervene only to keep things civil or to add what I hope are provocative and interesting points or questions.

Since I haven’t tried this at Facebook before, I don’t know whether I need to change some flags on my account. If you try to comment or to start a topic and it fails, write me a message on my wall or send me an e-mail.
At this point, I just want to have a “show of hands,” so add a short response to this thread to say, “I’m here and I’m interested.”
Of course, if you want to start a topic of your own–even a controversial one–go for it!
